On Dec. 1 Laygerfeld's first film for the campaign "Reincarnation" starred Pharrell Williams as the elevator lobby boy of a hotel layered by the indulgence of high society living. Williams' co-star and world renowned model, Cara Delevingne plays the role of a mechevious server who can't disregard any actions of playful trouble. Of course a Lagerfeld production titled "Reincarnation" would not be complete without the iconic CoCo Chanel, who was played by British actress Geraldine Chaplin.
What caught the vivid art walks eye in this film were the full body painted portraits of Williams and Delevingne in aristocratic attire specifically made for the film. Delevingne and Williams portrayed 19th century portraits of Austria’s Emperor Franz Joseph I and Empress Elisabeth of Austria. Williams also composed and wrote the theme music for the short film called, "CC the world".
